With winter fast approaching in the southern hemisphere now is as good a time as any to look at grabbing yourself some fresh ski gear for the new season. At the same time, if you’re based in the northern hemisphere and winter is now over, it’s equally as good a time to grab some great end of season deals.
Not familiar with skiing and snowboarding tall tee fashion? Check out our blog we put together last season – why snowboarders wear tall tees. Thankfully there are more options nowadays when it comes to skiing tall t’s, but which one is right for you?
5 Reasons our Tall Tees are Perfect for Skiing
-
Keep the Powder out –
Besides looking steezy, the main reason that skiiers like to wear tall t-shirts on the slopes is that because of the elongated length they go past your waistline and help to keep the powder out of your pants. If you’re taking a lot of tumbles this may well mean you’ll end up with the bottom of your tall tee getting a bit soggy but certainly beats a wet bum!
-
Heavyweight Cotton –
One of the last things you want to be at the snow is cold, however sometimes it just comes with the territory! It can be hard to avoid strong winds up on the chairlifts and even harder to predict how the course of the day will go. Will you need a heavy jacket or should you just wear a shell or tall hoodie? These are the kinds of questions that can be tough to decide on. If there’s one thing for sure though, it’s that you want your ski tall tees to be heavyweight and breathable. Ours are made from 100% combed cotton. This is both breathable and because it’s combed it’s a stronger fiber and perfect for action sports!
-
Big Range of Colours and Styles –
Whether you’re after a plain white tall tee or wanting something a bit more stylish with some artwork or a print on it, we have you covered. From great deals on blank tall t’s, to a an evergrowing range of colours and designs – we are constantly working with both local and international artists to be able to offer you the freshest designs. Rest assured that most of our printed designs are limited edition so that you don’t have to worry about seeing ten other skiiers the same day rocking the exact same design as you.
-
Very Affordable –
Did we mention how cheap our clothes are? We don’t believe in paying excessive prices for t-shirts just because some celebrity like Kanye is endorsing them. We’re all about keeping our clothing affordable, because let’s face it – lift tickets already cost enough!
-
Tried and Tested –
It’s all well n good for us to tell you how amazing our gear is, what brand wouldn’t? Our promise to you is that we take our quality testing very seriously. We’re not interested in a t-shirt that falls apart on you after a couple of sessions, and that’s exactly why we have a team of both snowboarders and skiiers testing our range across the globe. We even put together a handy guide of how to keep your tall whiteys staying white! Also feel free to check out some of our reviews on our website about other customers experiences with us.

We recently skied in Canada and without a doubt it is the most beautiful place in the world for skiing. Whistler definitely offers some great runs as well as nightlife but at times can feel a bit more like you’re in Australia with the amount of Aussies over there. If you’re wanting somewhere a little less crowded check out Banff. We also recently put together an article about purchasing tall tees in Canada.

New Zealand –
Queenstown hosts a bunch of great skiing mountains within close proximity making it an ideal place to visit. It’s also perfect for adrenaline junkies. Coronet Peak was our favourite or The Remarkables if you’re more interested in park terrain.
-
Japan –
Whilst it may not be the cheapest place to fly, Japan certainly has no shortage of amazing ski resorts. Boasting some of the best powder in the world and consistently good seasons. It’s hard to pick a favourite mountain there, but head on over and you certainly won’t be disappointed wherever you choose.

Avoriaz and Le Plagne are two must visit ski resorts in France and they’re perfectly family friendly.
