Pat Fallico: BMX Interview

If you’re not familiar with the name, Pat Fallico is one of the most exciting young Australian talents in BMX right now. We first came across Pat a year ago on Instagram, and I don’t think a day has passed where he hasn’t uploaded a mind blowing video. Since getting Pat on board Plus 2 Clothing a year ago he has improved more than ever, constantly evolving his tricks and all the while making it look too damn easy. So here is our interview with the man who’s bike has seen more resprays in the last year, than most bank robbers cars.

Wayyyyy Back! (13yo Pat)

Age: 18

Hometown: Gold Coast, Queensland

Years riding: 6 and half years!

Favourite spot growing up:

Definitely the local Helensvale sessions when I started riding!

What got you hooked on BMX: When I moved to Gold Coast my neighbour rode BMX so I got a bike and started having sessions at the local skatepark!

What were you riding at the time:

My first BMX was a Mongoose Pitcrew 16″ haha, and I’m pretty sure everything broke on it so I took it to the tip!

Favourite tracks to ride to:

Anything that has good beat!

What brought on the US trip, and how was it riding Woodward: Ended up earning enough money at my last job and my mate was already going so I booked my flights and went, always been a dream to go! Woodward was the best experience and got to meet some of my favourite riders!

Were there any differences between the BMX scene over there: Not much difference, it’s just back home i feel as though everyone pushes each other a lot more!

What are your main BMX goals/tricks you’re working on right now: Fun progression sessions with everyone! And what ever trick comes to mind on the day I’ll just try!

Is there a trick that you just can’t make sense of: Cash roll!

What else pisses you off: Learning a new trick and not being able to get the clip when the camera comes out!

Who are the guys that are pushing the boundaries of BMX the most right now: I’d say definitely Chance Brejnakowski and Logan Martin!

What are your favourite things to do when you’re not riding: Well while I was in America I went fishing a fair bit and was having so much fun!

Where in the world would you be riding right now if money weren’t a thing: Probably be traveling around the whole world riding all the skateparks!
